Alice Deacon

Director of Practice

Alice comes from a varied background in children’s services, health, substance misuse and integrated youth services. She’s worked in the voluntary sector, NHS and local authority settings.

She brings a drive to create services that are able to respond to the lived experience of young people utilising opportunity for innovation and vision for change in the sector. Passionate about getting the best out of people for our communities, and providing the highest quality of service, capacity building and solving complex problems; She believes change, modernisation and innovation are vital for public sector reputation, performance and relevance.

She brings extensive strategic leadership experience in local government, Early Help and Prevention, service development, re-design and transformation of services for children and young people. Throughout her work she seeks to ensure that service users experience an excellent service and they are truly accessible for all. That we continue to challenge and overcome the barriers, oppression and inequalities that exist for individuals and communities across services and systems.
